Tarpon fishing Cuba Oskar Pall Sveinsson part 2
It is time to prepare for spring fishing
Here comes March! This is usually the time to wrap my ice fishing. It is time to think about how prepare for spring fishing. Do you need new line? Maybe you need a new pole or reel? The sales usually start during this month for all you gear needs. Maybe you would like to find a new place. Choose a location that have not tried it yet and plan a weekend trip to check.
My brothers and friends and I use the winter months to plan another trip for spring. This year we will spend a few days to streams for the elusive trout. I found a pair, while in the deer woods in search of new sign. I can not wait to flip a fly on them and see what there is.
See you on the water!
It's time to clean your Tackle Box
In the meantime, you can also get the junk box out and give it a good cleaning. The first thing to do is take away by everything else (old line and candy wrappers.)
Now let's get serious. What is your main goal this year? I can use two sets of face, a box for fishing boat and a shoulder bag for canoeing and fishing stream. This allows me to carry a lighter load and remove gear do not need.
It is also a good way to eliminate gear that it is not really necessary. A good hook sharpener comes in handy on almost any computer. Keep one hand at all times. No sense to lose a fish to a hook boring.
The next thing you should look at the condition of your decoys. Are they grazed? Touch up paint or nail polish (Check with your wife or daughters first) will do the trick. Brush sealant shortly after it dries and you're all set for another year. You may want to check the acute at this time. Now is the time to replace bent and rusted hooks.
When you get into plastics, whether tubes or worms, make sure you carry out any have begun to join the case. Definitely, it will cause problems later.
I'm tired just writing about it. Think I'll go take a break beer! See you on the water.
